The first round of 2021 Tissot UCI Track Cycling Nations Cup, in which Belarusian riders took an active part, despite the unfavorable epidemiological situation in the world and won more than one award, ended in Hong Kong on May, 17.
Yauheni Karaliok distinguished himself in two disciplines at once: the first place in scratch – his crown discipline, the second – in omnium, which is included in the Olympic Games program.
Tatsiana Sharakova won the gold medal in scratch, and Hanna Tserakh, the racer of Minsk Cycling Club, hit the podium according to the results of the individual pursuit race, Ina Savenka finished third in the same race, the second place was taken by the Japanese Kie Furuyama.
The duo of Hanna Tserakh and Ina Savenka won silver in madison.
Dzianis Mazur was the seventh in individual pursuit.
